bandit status

short version:

how many player kills does it take for someone to get low enough humanity to become a bandit

long version:

today i wandered in to kamenka looking for bandages and as im crawling around this dude opens up on someone freshly spawned with his ak and kills them this annoyed me somewhat so i followed him and shot him while he was looting the dude (he had the bandages i needed thankfully) and then i looked up and noticed it got counted as a murder so ive spent the past few hours looking around to find out how someone becomes a bandit

I have no idea, i once sniped 4 players and a bandit in 30 mins, and when my mate killed me (He was too jelly of the M107 :P) he still got a 'murder'

How do you know? The only person who will know you are a bandit is the person who kills you and get a bandit kill.

About your story, I wouldn't worry, you knew you did the right thing.

I don't know about how much it takes though. But it SHOULD work like this: if you kill someone within a small amount of time they kill someone else, like your kill, then it should count as a bandit kill.
