US 88 Texas - Possible Abusive Server Admin

Earlier this morning i was playing in US 88 Texas. I had discovered a fresh firefight zone in Elektro that was riddled with bodies, one of the bodies was glitched standing up, i disarmed it and hid in the brush then eventually caught someone who found the scene as well and killed him. I moved to loot him, took his weapons and gear but right at the moment i finished looting his gear, every player in the server was moved to the debug ocean. I logged off quickly to avoid getting killed or losing my gear from treading water. Logging back in, i found myself in Cherno missing all of the gear and was stuck with my Makarov.

Now i'm not blindly pointing fingers at the admin, but i can confidently admit that the person i killed had a name starting with A and had 2 words in it, i honestly did not get a good peak at the name as i was more concerned with looting the corpse and getting out of other possible shooter's fields of fire. However it seems awfully suspicious that one player gets killed and every player in the server is killed and forced to respawn with all of their gear. Either way, If i'm wrong please feel free to tell me, i'm not lookin to pick fights here, i'm just lookin to make my situation known.

Also in his defense, the server owner/admin name is Aden Florian... I have heard complaints before about the server admin being a poor sport and abusive of powers.

Couple things, firstly Aden hasn't even been online for the last 4-5 days, so the person you killed was not him. Secondly, Aden is the absolute furthest thing from an abusive admin. He doesn't play the game much anymore yet spends hours of his personal time working on server upkeep and trying to combat the constant assault from hackers we deal with on US 88. He is a neutral admin and almost to a fault requires definitive proof for each and every hacker we ban on our server.

The admins on US 88 are awesome people, it is the scumbag hackers that have targeted many servers including ours who are to blame for these bad times. Please stop slandering our admins.

Holy smokes, where to start with this one... Aden has not been online for several days (at least 5 or 6 at this point). I understand you're upset- we ALL are. Hackers have been targeting our server for reasons unbeknownst to me. I saw a YouTube video posted the other day by an Arma2 hacker that basically advertises hacking on 'US 88'. We are trying to deal with the issues at hand as carefully as we possibly can- it will take time. There has been a large influx of new Day Z players and along with that a slew of new hackers.

Also, I think you may be a little misinformed on what powers the admins actually possess over the server. You should probably do some reading on the forum when you have a minute. The hacking issue on our server is overwhelming at the moment and I'm doing everything in my power to try and be fair and balanced with my bans, and not banning purely on speculation as most players on the server have encouraged me to do.

Please join our TeamSpeak if you continue to play on the server, we're a pretty tight-knit group on there and everyone pretty much keeps each other informed when there is a suspected hacker on the server.

Brachra, I'd like to address you directly.

Where have you heard such complaints before about the admin being abusive on our server and being a 'poor sport'?

The guy is a freaking Saint, I've never met someone so unbiased in their reasoning in my life.

I think an accusation like that deserves an explanation.

now and however, before you all freak out at once now... I NEVER ONCE said anything along the lines of "ooh screw him its 100% him"

i was merely adding information, And since i have never heard anything but complaints (while those complaints range in the 2-3 total player range) its still all i have to go by

i wasnt slandering anybody.

If hes not a bad guy? hes not a bad guy.. enough said.

I never once said my Final judgement of the guy was made..

but Rizaleous and myself have been having increasing amounts of problems on Texas 88, and now i guess i know whats wrong with it.. hackers.
