HFB Customers - Please Read

It's not an issue of them spawning. It's an issue with HFB servers not having an updated HIVE file (or something) because no one who currently has camo on can get into the servers, and if you put camo on while in the game your character doesnt save, or can access loot, or get into vehicles.

The hives are updated as we pushed this update out earlier today. I will look into the ticket and respond with a possible solutions on what I can do before escalating it.

No worries, like I said I don't know if it is HIVE related or not. What I do know though is that it happened after the 1.7.2.3 DayZ patch (alongside BattleEye and Hive Updates) and hasn't allowed us to join our server for about 20 days or so. It is only affecting HFB servers

Here is a thread I created earlier in the month describing this issue, you can follow the progression and how it is clearly an HFB problem:

Again, this has nothing to do with the spawning of camo and ghillie suits. That is a DayZ issue. What is an HFB issue is that no one is wearing camo or ghillie suits can join an HFB (almost all) server. And if you happen to have camo in your inventory and put it on in an HFB server, nothing you do gets saved to the HIVE. You cannot access loot, vehicles, or save location. That is why people are confident there is still a HIVE issue.

If you need us to make a goddamn youtube video to show you I would be happy to do so.

Gonna post this here, since its in relation to the first post & hfb customer relations.

U ask for us to check for errors & send attached log file via support tickets.

I point out u dont let us attached those filetypes

It gets fixed + after 2-3 attempts due to your ticket support backend timing out i manage send a ticket with the file

I check my mail today & see this as a response

Please only send in valid tickets.

- File not found / No content in the text field. - Closed.

U only wanted a certain title + file attached if it contain errors to help narrow down with hive sync issues.

So i sent a ticket with the title & file attachment & left the text field black basicly

I can clearly see plain as day, my ticked with file attachment at the bottom, but if i click on file attachment i get an error file not found.

Which of course means a screw up on your support ticket backend, no simple file check after a file is uploaded ?

A proper reponse would have been to ask someone to re-upload the file in question, maybe point to another free filehosting site as a temp solution. Or point out solution to the problem if it has been solved & ask them to send another ticket if they still having problems

So in the end u basicly dont tell your customers to thier face they are wrong without beening 99% sure first.

Especially when they been waiting a week now to get properly working server.

Having this issue on my server as well, shut down my server early today and installed the "New" install and tested it afterwards, doesn't work. Players with ghillies cannot join, if a player puts on a ghillie their character does not save.

Wow...well I'm currently not renting a server for DayZ...I will definitely be talking to current server owners before I pull the trigger. This thread has been eye opening.

From reports now, I believe the Ghillie suite problem should be fixed.
