Curiously, how do you zero a rifle?

I'm not just talking about the main game, but also the Day-Z mod, how do I "zero" a rifle scope for a certain distance, so I don't have to hold off by ten feet?

That doesn't exactly work, it only zooms and unzooms a rifle scope. I mean, how do I set a rifle scope so that there will be no bullet drop, where I am aiming?

Once on Youtube, I saw a vid of a guy who made a 2,000 meter headshot after he zeroed his rifle in to that distance.

it is page up/down, look in the options.

Not all guns feature the option to do it, but it is page up and down.

There should be a number in the t op right hand corner of your screen that will change (it usually starts at 300m).

Maybe you have changed the default keys.

Go to Options -> Controls -> Look for "Zeroing Up" and "Zeroing Down" keys. Assign keys to them if there is nothing assigned.

Which rifle are you using? My DMR for example cannot be zero'd. It's already zero'd for about 500m.
