All servers red X's please help.

Hello all! I am having trouble finding a server because all the servers are red X's. I would truly appreciate some assistance on how I can find a server that works. Apparently I have update 1.7.2.3 I believe. Any clue on how I can fix this? Thank you!

It's not just the version of dayz you have to worry about.

Did you install the Arma II beta patch that matches the servers you're trying for?

Did you put the arma2oa.exe in the right place? Launch options correct?

On the first screen, what version does it say in the lower rot corner?

install six launcher, launch it, close it, game is ready

I would suggest you simply download 6-launcher from the dayz site or dayzwiki.com site and run that, it will automatically patch your game with both the Beta and Dayz files and enable you to play without too much trouble.

I don't believe I did install the beta patch, an the version that is on the main screen is version

1.60.87580

Out of curiosity, if you join one of these servers - what happens? Do you get a particular error message? That would be handy in pinpointing your problem champ.

Lol we would t want that, an when I do find a server that says i have the "correct" versionit says:

That I have the wrong version that I have update 1.7.2.3 that I need like 1.6 or it gets completely stuck at the loading screen
