Food for thought 0 Posted July 23, 2012 This is a recounting of my first murder in game I have had around 9-12 kills since but this one Holds a very special place in my black little soul.I was heading toward starry from cherno ( this is after I received a gift from a sniper over 500m away) after respawning and raiding cherno and proceeded crossed the hill north of cherno at the time i had a Winchester 1866 with slugs with a Alice pack full of food and water on the down slope i noticed a player heading upward (more than likely to raid for food this is speculation) that was when i noticed he was packing a M4A1 CCO with a Coyote.My first thought was to flee this was my second week into the game and i felt that my odds were poor at best but i felt this Rush or Murder make (I'm a Warhammer 40k nerd sue me :D) as i call it hit's me i knew that the high ground would serve me well i draw my Winchester and snap off a shot my first round went wide slamming into a tree next to him i then dodged behind a conifer tree, he let loose five rounds at me missing each i cut left keeping the tree between us and notice he is backing up still looking where I was by this time I'm ready for him my Second round breaks his legs he falls over, the third is a chest shot and i believe that i had killed him (I never bothered to check for the murder) i make my way over and proceeded to loot little did i know that when i went over to his body he was alive i walk over and just as i begin he moves slightly.I will not lie a Smile came to my face I draw my 1911 and put two in is head.His backpack is stacked munitions for his M4 and Medical Supplies i drop my bag get his and transfer my gear into his Hiding is body just for good measure.I know my story is just one of many but like them all i believe it should be heard. itsalive427 2 Posted July 23, 2012 similar story: i was wwalking up a hill leaving cherno. i planned to go to zub castle because my frien was in the area and saw a tent city bout 500 meters from there. im runnng and i see movement to my left. it was a player running to a ridge overlooking cherno. i could tell immediatly that he was planning on sniping cherno. i hit the deck and waited about 15 seconds to make sure he hadn spotted me then i slowly crept over to the ridge. i smiled when i saw his back turned too me, lying down with his m14. i went into direct and said "you really should be more careful." i then blasted him with my m16a2. 3 shots later hes crawling away from me towards the edge of the ridge and i laugh over direct and fire off 10 round for the hell of it. he had m14 with 8 dmr clips,nvgs,gps,tons of food drink and meds,among other things that massively assisted in my friend and I's raid on the tent city. 2 were killed at the tent city and none others in sight. rest assured, me and my friend were sniping in ghillie suits with two nvgs in stary sobor that night. kill count of the night: 6 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
