Problem loading DayZ

I just bought Arma 2 Combined Operations for Steam and followed many steps to get DayZ to work. Without the latest Arma 2 OA patch, I can load the game and a mission, but DayZ servers won't load. I keep getting a black screen, a full loading bar and some background sounds. I looked up how to fix this and the solution I found was to use the latest beta patch. I downloaded the patch, I moved the new arma2OA.exe that came with the patch over and I renamed the original. However, now I can't even load the game. I keep getting an error saying "Error Creating Direct 3D 9 Graphical Engine" and then the game crashes.

To summarize:

I use Steam

DayZ servers show black loading screen

Without the latest beta patch, I can play missions, load the Dayz Server list but cannot get past the loading screen

With the latest beta patch, I have an error message when the game tries to load

Can anyone help me please? Thanks!

Launch game via six launcher that will fix it i dont know but arma 2 oa dont want to start without DayZ
