They are probably already working on this, but it would be nice if there was more variation in the way the zombies look. Its weird being attacked by four of the same looking zombies.

Do you NOT understand the work it would take to do that? Modeling is not an easy task as you have to rig the models, animate them, attach the code so they don't walk like humans and make a whole lot of changes. I just don't see it happening.

There are actually a lot of community fans out there that have remodeled the zombies already and made variants, you can find their posts here and there and they look pretty nice. One fan made a retexture and it looks awesome. Unfortunately Rocket has more pressing things on his agenda and as long as his team does not get expanded he simply does not have the time.

Right now that is, lots of future opportunity ofcourse.
