Gutting animals? anyone else having a problem

After I gut thee animals, it says x many meats are on the corpse. But I cannot find thee option to loot the meat. When I mouse wheel over the corpse, I get 3 options, Study Body, Hide Body, and Switch guns. Its kinda frustrating ! Anyone know what Im doing wrong?

Yea that happaned to me with 3000 blood. Pissed me the hell off so freakin bad I died of starvation 5 min later.

You gotta search around the body. I killed a boar and the loot symbol was on the ground near the animal's back, not on the actual corpse.

Yeah, its happening to us as well. If you are with someone, you gut the animal (and cannot see the meat) however your partner can get the meat. The same thing is happening if you upgrade your backpack, the backpack you had seems to dissappear yet someone else can see it yet you cannot.

You sometimes have to look at the body at different angles. It's stupid I know, but hey, glitches and such.

I'm not sure if it's because the server has wrong hive but the problem is caused from the hive not being synced to you/server. If you wait it will usually come up before carcass disappears. This isn't caused from not looking at the body in just the perfect angle. You can sit in the same place and eventually the take meat will come up. You will usually get a broken chain soon also, the chain has been lagging behind though and instead of showing when nothing works it shows after things start working again.

Ooo i see, so i suppose next time , ill wait a lil longer near the corpse! Cuz im infected and dieing slowly! and i need meat to keep my blood up!

(and ya , about that backpack thing, it happened to me a lil bit ago, i dropped my Alice pack for a pack i dint recognize, and it turned out to be a 6 slot bag! and i lost my alice pack and all my goodies! :()
