Hello i found a map earlier today and for some reason i cannot find myself on it anymore...It showed my position and now i cannot see where I am at on the map. Any help?

Regular servers allow you o see yourself on the map where as veteran servers do not. Chances are you moved to a veteran server.

Ok... Anyway, this is a server setting. Some servers will have the flag on so you can see where you are, and some will not.

Ah I see I did not know the servers did that. So what server names should i look for to know which ones have map locations and which ones do not?

The maps are topographical so land nav is pretty easy, however if you are still learning and such regular servers are way easier to find your way around and they will give you cross hairs on your screen to help you aim. Should say in the server selection screen what difficulty they are running on. Recruit or regular show you on the map.

Difficulty doesn't matter I don't think. I've played on regular servers before with no map waypoint.

Roger that, the difficulty is the general rule, admins can set custom server settings though.
