A question about making your own campsite

So if I place a tent and make my own little campsite will I have to go back to the same server for it to be there? Or will it be on any server I go to?

I think it has to be the same server - though I'm not 100% sure on this.

It's just on that server.

And currently, you've got to be patient as it still might disappear and reappear on server restart.

Yes, it absolutely must be the same server. This goes for vehicles too!

A great idea is to join a clan with a permanent server that has great ping for you.

Obviously on the same server, if it was global then I'm pretty sure 80% of the 25kmx25km map would be filled with tents.

Also, keep in mind that tents are extremely glitchy. There are a number of inconveniences in having them. ;)

I think. As long as you have saved the tent, and ur character is alive the tent will be there on that server until you die. But you or someone else will need to add/remove items every 7 days. If it's untouched for 7 days it will disappear.. But the server can eat the tent if ur unlucky.
