Climbing a ladder

Seriously, I have no Idea how to climb a ladder and no one in-game will even reply to my calls for help.

Can someone please tell me how to climb a ladder?

sometimes they are a pain in the ass to do, but look around the ladder if looking directly at it doesnt show a green up arrow/down arrow, most of the time on a roof i have to look at the ground before i see one, and middle click if you didnt already know

try standing right next to the ladder but face sideways. also you can use the scroll wheel to find the option to climb ladder up/down (which you would select with mmb) or like Naein said just click mmb when you see the triangular indicator. Look at the rungs, poles and all around while close to it. gl
