automatic weaons not working properly

No one else I play with has this problem so I'm sure it's just me, which is why im posting here instead of in the bug report system.

picked up an ak for the first time earlier today. Every time I try to use it, it continuously fires until I do something to interrupt it, like switching to a different weapon or binoculars. It will continue to do this until the clip is out, then it will reload and just keep firing lol.

and no, I'm not really stupid and Im not holding down left click the entire time.

any ideas as to why it's doing this and how I can fix it?
