That's right; it takes time and has to be reported, because to have a script behind the locking function that would AUTOMATICALLY report it is just WAY too much trouble.

There are servers in the 10s of thousands. Chill the fuck out. It's a lot of work and given the size of the team and alpha nature of the mod you should really just go play on a server you know is ok and have a good time. Sooner or later you'll lose your gear anyway.

People need to learn that every server when its locked isnt for shady reasons. When you first start your server or are trying to edit your server the flood of people on your server makes it difficult to work on it so locking the server on start up to test the server or to allow the server to actually start before its DDOS spammed should not be a issue. But if your locking it for clan members or other shady stuff im all for a blacklist

As it turns out, my worthless provider HFBservers.com,has exactly that. You lock/pw a server and you get an automatic email and your server is stopped. 3rd time and you get locked until you talk with HFB.

So - as I've said before, if you can give me access, then do it - or STFU. Your denigrating others is just boring. Obviously, you're mad at your mommy and take it out on everyone here, and - for whatever reason - defend the worthless twits who are waiting to sell DayZ to the highest bidder.

our server is looked up, too. just got yesterday the id and now we are testing settings, looking forward to get it public and have fun with players :-)

there are many new servers in "testmode", just need sometime to figure settings out and after that, rock the island.

Open your eyes. There are tons of false accusations of admins abusing powers. The devs dont give a flying F if someone comes with accusations but no proof. Thats a good thing. One or two screen shots showing a server locked does not mean anything. How would you like to pay 50e /month for a server. Run it totally legit, then some mofo reports you and your server gets blacklisted for no reason. You still have to pay the rent and the cry baby that just destroyed one server, can continue to play and whine.

No. I dont have my own server but there are way too many cry babys playing this game and starting to yell as soon as they _suspect_ that someone is cheating or abusing powers. Get proof and then report trough the correct channels. The devs just cant read all the shit on the forum. Really. You can even see it on the announcements section. People going off topic like in the first 5 posts and it continues for about five million fokken posts. Rocket will have to spend hours just to try and fine the usefull information some people post there. Important issues of the patch etc. No help even if he posts the desclaimer with big ass font asking people not to post messages of support or abuse, but still it fills up with "we love you rocket". Im sure he knows that already.

Because Rocket maybe has other stuff to do then to look up on servers, he has a team for it. And from what Ive being reading on the forum Sat/Sunday allot of servers got blacklisted or did recieve a email from the devs.

I think the reason that 99.99999999999999% of reports are ignored is because they consist of;

ZOMG!!!!P3nguin111! I was running through cherno and I killed someone and then I instantly died and the serverz was rebooted by the Adm1nz. Blacklist please!

And thats it. Most people have stopped reading them because most people posting them have no/little idea what they are talking about.

All I am saying is that by posting a mature thread on the forum and submitting a support ticket, BOTH containing actual verifiable proof, will go a long way in resolving these matters.
