Mouse lag and negative mouse acceleration

Recommended Posts

I just bought the game and the mouse is unusable, mouse smoothing does not seem to do a thing to fix the negative mouse acceleration. And even with smoothing all the way down there is still lag. Is there a fix for this, I haven't found one.

If your using Windows, try opening the Control Panel and navigate to the Mouse settings. Go to the Pointer Options tab and make sure it's dead center of the speed slider. Also try un-checking Enhance pointer precision.

Just so you know ArmA's gun-to-mouse-movement isn't instant like other fps games because it takes into account the weight of the weapon.

It's not a windows or driver issue. There's such a thing as overdoing realism. Ruining the experience for such an insignificant aspect of realism is dumb imo. To everyone I play with it doesn't come off as "oh it's ok they're just simulating a real weapon" but rather "the mouse controls are buggy as shit".
