DayZ will not load

Hi there,

So i'm really interested in playing this game, bought Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead just for it.

I'll try to include everything i've tried to help with debugging..

so I followed all the steps to install DayZ in every possible combination

For some reason when I right click on operation arrowhead to go to combined arms, and then click on combined arms, nothing happens.

What does happen, is a that black code box with coding in it flashes real quick (like 1 or 2 seconds) and then flashes off, and then nothing happens after that.

I have tried every launch option recommended

-mod=@dayz -nosplash

and

-mod=@dayz

and still the same result. everything I try seems to be the recommended installation process but the game never loads through combined arms.

Also, when I go through Operation Arrowhead, I can see DayZ written under the Arma 2 operation arrowhead sig at the top of the opening screen, so the mod appears to be there but its just not opening for me.

I've pretty much exhasted everything I could think of, i've even tried re-installing arma II and Operation arrowhead with no change.

If anyone has any answers for me they are more than welcome :)

run arma2 first, to the menu, then quit. run arma2oa, without combined ops, to the menu, quit.

now you can add the mod line

when you run, just use OA, not the CO option. at main menu, open expansions, make sure arma2 and pmc are checked. restart game if nesesary and try to hop in a server.
