Can we talk about my fps? Here are my specs

Recommended Posts

I have a dell studio 1458.

i5 core, 2.4GHz

4.00 GB ram, 3.86 usable

64 bit operating system

My graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 540v (I think)

So basically I get about 12-15 FPS at all times, usually laggy when I'm running from one area to another. What settings and other things can I do to improve?

I also use the six launcher, so I don't know how that affects it.

My main problem is my character is hard to aim and is laggy. I can also play most games well on high graphics, but fps games are really wierd with settings are cpu usage. I can play sc2, diablo, isaac, league of legends....

ALSO: David standefer, if you read this I was Enfrozt the guy with the shot gun, and I'm sorry we both fell off stairs and somehow broke our legs and went unconscious, it was cool that you respawned <3

Try adjust your graphics settings. I have lower specs than you do, and my setup is currently with screen resolution set to my actual screens resolution, 3D resolution to 100%, then everything else in advanced options is either disabled, off or it's lowest settings. Usually getting about 30-40fps out in the wilderness, large cities it drops down to 18-30fps. If your still getting poor results with 3D resolution at 100%, then drop it down to around 80%. Would do much lower as it makes everything all blurry.

Is that a laptop you are using? Arma is notoriously bad on laptops.

Laptop yes.

Laptop yes.

Well, I use one for scripting Arma missions, but that's on the lowest settings as I can get it and with as little AI as possible when testing. A full size rig will run it better I believe.
