Battleye Initialization Failed

So, whenever I join a server, it gives me a message saying that Battleye has failed to initialize. This has been going on for days, and even after multiple servers (Est. 50 servers tried, various time zones, pings, players, etc)

So, anyone know how to fix it? Here's what I already tried:

Opening steam as administrator and reinstalling battleye on the ArmA 2: CO page

Manually puting all three updated files in the correct places

Uninstalling and reinstalling everything ArmA related

Some other stuff I can't really remember at the moment.

Anyone know about a fix for it that aren't what I have tried?

here is the thread where it mentions that some of us may have to manually update battleye. I guess Six Launcher was updated to handle this at some point which may explain why some people have fixed it by reinstalling Six.
