spam_one 0 Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) Hello everybody,i just want to warn you, i rented a server (only arma2 CO to play at Dynamic Zombie Sandbox, another very great zombie mod) at vilayer.com and it's just a shame to be like that with customers.I say this to all of you because vilayer is known since few times because they have a special offer for dayz server.So, after the rent, 2 days and a reinstall by the support to have a functionnal admin panel. After this, i saw that last patch isn't available. After that, i have many timeout when i want to login in admin panel, during long hours (5/6 hours). When i try to contact the support, they answered me, 1 day after, that all arma 2 co Dayz server was updated to last beta patch and last dayz version (and i say i dont give a fuck i have an arma 2 co server).4 days after the rent, and after more problems, i request an immediate cancellation because of bad services. I don't want to pay for this, i prefer to pay even 10$ more than vilayer if i had a good server and good support.Some hours later, i received a mail which confirm that my server will be cancelled (not 24hours this time).They don't talk about money, thus suddenly i have a doubt, i send an email in billing category to know how many time for the refund by paypal.After that, i have to go far for 4 days, and can't check my email.Today i'm coming back and no mail.But i have this when i tried to log to vilayerHow to lose 15€ with swindlers.I advise you to choose another host. spam_one 0 Posted July 25, 2012 News : you can't be refund, it's in TOS (i'd like to know why they give the possibility to cancel before the end if it's not to be refund).The support proposed me to reactivate the server and use it, i have no choice i say yes, even if my server is in Luxembourg instead of Paris, even if on 2 weeks i can use my servers for only 4/5 days.I contact them to install the last beta patch 95248, that was made in 5 minutes, hurray.I play nicely at DZS, finally.Yesterday, you know that arma 2 multiplayer was offline. So i take a time to stop the server and change some things in the server.cfg.When i want to start it again, my server was cancelled........................I try to know why, the support tell me he doesnt understand if i want to keep or cancel the server (he surely doesnt know how to look at old tickets, or their software is a shit without history).I answer that i have no choice, i keep it like it was said before. Graz (DayZ) 146 Posted July 25, 2012 Ive rented from Vilayer since they first started with DayZ-servers, and ive had NO bad experiences, just good ones.Go on their Teamspeak and Lee will give you a refund i guarantee that!I'm with these guys, Vilayer has been a great host and if you jump onto their team speak I'm sure you'll get your issue sorted.I hope you realize that just what is entailed in hosting a server? Why i have to go on TS to be understood ? I explain myself as clear as possible on support ticket, it's enough.I am the customer, and i m not an ass, i dont do all of this for pleasure, i work since too much time in customer relationship to know how it is.You have great experience with them ? Vilayer seems to be a good host, but the time to be heard and the incomprehension, near half of the rent time, was a bit too much.They move my server to Paris and my rent begin again from today.I prefer to be fair and say it.Admin can lock. Never had a problem with the admin panel.Took a few days to get white listed but it does for any server.Takes a few hours normaly to get the option to patch it to the latest dayz / beta patch.apart from that its bang on and not bad for £30 a month.
