Changing Timezone on server?

Recommended Posts

Hey, I got a Server now with the Timezone GMT+2.

That means, Its always night there, when I've got time to play (I only can play in evening)

Is it possible, that I change that time on my server?

U really need to give more info, before people can help?

Like who is hosting the server for u ? dedicated server box / a dayz server reseller ?

Dedicated server box u got access to ? What OS u running + version ? Windows 7 / Server 2008 (have a look @ tzutil u may need a hotfix)

HFB ? U have to send in a ticket to get them to change the timezone as they dont have a tool yet to edit the .bat file. Hope your server is one where tzutil works atm

Vilayer -> Login into ACP -> Game Services -> Conf files -> changeservertime.bat

Havent tried any others yet

Hi ,

I'm using Tzutil right now with my dedicated server...I Have two server running on it GMT +2 and GMT -6 ,

so at each restart , there is a batch like that.

TzUtil /s "romance standard time"

Net start 1server

timeout /t 120 /nobreak

tzutil /s "central standard time"

Net start second server

Timeout /t 180 /nobreak

TzUtil /s "romance standard time"

It work fine the most of time...and if the server crash , as it's a windows service , their will be another batch (pretty much the same)

launching again tzutil , and the server.

My problem is , for example

The first server crash (gmt-6) , 5PM (GMT+2 , local hour)

The batch will launch TzUtil , to change the timezone to GMT-6 until the server is back , that will do 9AM on the system clock....and at 9AM is the hour I set for the general restart...meaning the other server will restart , following the BEC Scheduled...

It doesn't happen often...only 2 times until now...But it still can happen ...

So i'm searching a way to set a specific timezone to a specific application / service...if anyone as something like that...
