I've yet to get a FAL , I was wondering why it is so favoured ? Obviously discounting the NVG scope is it that much better than other 7.62 semi autos ? I know IRL it is reliable and accurate, is that the only reasons in game or am I missing something?

Well your version of FN FAL has night vision scope. Also it's one shot-kill. Downside is its LOUD.

I'd only take the FAL if you were going to play at night a fair amount. If you're not then there's no point taking it. But in response to your question I believe it is more accurate and more lethal over longer ranges.

FN Fal. One shot kill, reliable on long ranges. Loud as HELL. Only 50 cal is louder I think?
