moobi 0 Posted July 22, 2012 Hey,I bought and installed Arma 2 CO today and played it for some time. I am using the Six Launcher to search servers and start the game.My problem: The game may be really cool, but the gameperformace is very bad. The mouse reacts with a very little delay(cant aim properly) and the game often stutters! The zombies are often laggy(are wandering around, than suddenly attacking, than wandering around again-.-). Sometimes when I want to go through doors i get stuck for some seconds or while using ladders i hover around it. Ive a ping of 90 and played on different servers!I have a quadcore and a ~1year old graphicscard an both are on 35-60% workload while running the game!I also tried these suggestions, but it didnt help: http://dayzmod.com/f...phics-properly/Does anybody know any solutions? I dont know what to do...
suspense 210 Posted July 22, 2012 The "mouse" delay is due to mousesmoothing which arma uses. You can reduce it quite a bit in the settings, or completely removed it by adding "Mousesmoothing;1 to your ArmA 2 OA config. FPS can be due to a lot of reasons. One of them being ArmA is very IO and CPU intensive, its also not very good at utilization multi-cores. You can help this by reducing graphical settings aswell as doing some config tweaks, ive made a post on here with some tips, just look in my profile. FPS currently also depends on the server. Object cleanup is bugged at the moment, which means player bodies and zombie bodies sometimes dont disappear until the server restarts, this can result in really bad performance, theres really nothing to do about this until Rocket releases a fix. ActionManZlt 160 Posted July 22, 2012 How fast is your CPU? Older (low GHz) quad-cores will probably run Arma worse than a fast (high GHz) dual-core.Try these:http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/forums/showthread.php?5611-README-Notable-Arma-2-tweaks
nahaz 132 Posted July 22, 2012 It can be affected by the server you play on aswell. Try different ones!

moobi 0 Posted July 22, 2012 http://www.rockpaper...e-Arma-2-tweaks worked fine. The game's performance is much better now like in normal games! Crazy game, where one has to "repair" the game before it becomes playable! Thanks!
