Need helping setting graphics lower then allowed.

Recommended Posts

My PC isnt the greatest, infact i call it a shit machine for a reason.

If anyone could help me configure my arma to go lower then the lowest settings in the options that would be great.

if it helps my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 4650 and my processor is an AMD anthlon II X4 635.

extra addons will work i would just need to know how to install them.

i also use steam to run arma.

Incase anyone is wondering i get playble FPS but id much prefer to get more, even if that means sacrificing looks.

Are you sure that is not Arma2.cfg? You are missing several settings there ^.

Turn off in game Antialiasing, even on Low in Arma it can cost 5fps or more.

You could try shadows on High as when they are set lower than High they are rendered on the CPU. On High or above they are rendered by the GPU.

Set your render, or 3D resolution to the same size as your screen resolution. This just helps appearence, the settings you have there look kind of screwy. Eg: odd dimensions.

That looks ok.

You could try setting GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; to =1; . Probably wont make much diff though. New PC time I guess!

If you do end up using FSAA make sure you set AToC=0;
