DayZ Issue - Missing string and not loading

Recommended Posts

Today my friend finally downloaded ArmA II and Operation ArrowHead, He Has the most recent version and has Battleye Fully updated too. He gets an issue though, where An error comes up saying 'MISSING STRING!!' He got kicked off of a server with saying Battleye did not update correctly, and is forced back to the Main Menu. When he tried to reinstall battleye, It came up with that error, 'MISSIN STRING!!'

The second issue is that when he does manage to join a server, Goes through the loading and reaches Waiting for Character to create. Once this has happened, It will staying on the 'Loading' Screen and will not come off.

Any replies will be Helpful, thanks!

Update Battleye through Arma2 (the normal one).

Go into that folder and copy everything in the battleye folder to the Operation Arrowhead Batteye folder.

It says "game is currently unnavailible, please try again another time.

I was having an issue with Battleye that was resolved through deleting BEClient.dll from /users/(yourusernamehere)/appdata/local/arma 2 oa/battleye/

It re-updated after I connected to a server and all was well. Feel free to backup that file before you delete it.
