Arma 2 / Free

Hey guys.

I've got a question, I have arma 2 free and bought Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead about 2 weeks ago. Now i want to buy arma 2 because of the better textures (and also because of the 40% discount ^^) but if buy it will i loose my character in dayZ or can i just download it via steam and play dayZ with better textures and the same character?

PS: sry for my bad english.

I did the exact same thing s you, you don't loose your character just delete ARMA II Free and launch ARMA 2 and launch Combined Operations. Then just use Six Updater the verify/update.

Your character is connected to your Arma 2: OA CD-Key, not to Arma 2. So no, you will not lose your character.

Characters are bound to CD'keys and will therefor not ever get deleted unless you die on the game that is attached to your steam account.
