non 7z archive problem

hi everyone, i just downloaded my copy of arma 2 and operation arrowhead via steam and i have tried to install the day z mod, however i keep running into a "non 7z archive" error whenever i try to run the six updater and i need help to fix it.

things that you should know:

-i have run both of the games before downloading the six updater, except i only played the first bit of the boot camp in arma 2 and i havent done anything in operation arrowhead besides check out my profile.

-i downloaded the six updater suite from the US mirror

-to reiterate, i have downloaded both games through steam

-every time i try to run the setup for the six updater the only thing i get is the error

on a side note im pretty new here so dont flame me because im not sure if this is a simple fix and a really common and annoying question. thanks.

I had this problem too.

The way i solved it was to re-download the installer and try that, i hope this works for you.
