Reminds me of when I was scavenging around in a village off the coast and I had just ran out of ammo so I was booking it from one zombie. Pretty soon, 1 turned to 2, than 2 to 4 and pretty soon, I had a good 30-40 zombies chasing me till I finally ended up getting stuck on a corner and beat to death.

That's happened to me before. Not much i can do but try and sneak into a small barn and hope for some ammo

Sorta reminds me of last night on "Dallas 8", I was just east of Zelenogorsk. Needed some water, so tried to locate the well i knew was inside the town. Didn't find it, but instead 12 zombies found me. Ended up getting caught inside a barricade, only to die out when i accidentally swapped my Makarov for a flare. Oh well, at least those zombies could see something while they chewed up the remains of my body.

yeahhh we're thinking about trying to run through a whole city at some point haha going to be epic.

i did that yesterday (running through a town luring all the zombies), which wasnt a good idea (it was cherno).

i got shot by a bandit 5 mins before i ran through cherno and when i got there again to get my loot a friend told me i should run to his position....which i did.......bad idea.

when i got to him i had a hell lot of zeds behind me so i was hiding in a building next to the one my friend was in....but....after the zombie counter was at 185 i ran out of ammo.....

=> never run through cherno :P
