If they haven't seen me I'll watch for a second and try to see what the "survivor" is carrying. I'll often just GTFO, the same if I hear I hear distant gunshots.I got killed by some bandits scum recently. Dude opened fire on me instantly. 42 days alive and two weeks without seeing another survivor....I respawned at Bolota, found an axe but suddenly came across two guys in the dark. I snuck up behind them when they went inside a buidling and axed them both to death and took everything they had. My first two non-defensive murders and my first axe kills.40 mins later I found a crashed heli, got a another FN FAL and then found a dead body with some NVGs... win!!! johis69 2 Posted July 24, 2012 Avoid contact and leave if possible. Even though it doesn't seem to work very well, I will not be the guy that shoots first. I don't actually care much about the high tier loot or such. I'm quite happy with a water bottle, hatchet and matches. Best part of this game is right there on the beach with nothing to lose. I don't see any point spending hours and hours to get supr 1337 sniper lulz gear and eventually die anyway feeling terrible for losing it.I also don't really care if you kill me because I'll be back on dat beach trying to find other players who don't KOS :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sticker704 121 Posted July 24, 2012 Depends. If he's looking right at me, then I get some cover and talk it out over Direct. If he doesn't reply, he dies. If he shoots me, he dies. If he doesn't do what I say, he dies.However, if he doesn't see me, I just watch him and then whatever his behaviour and load out is will determine his fate, though I usually just wait until the person leaves.
