I'm thinking of getting Arma 2: CO just to play this, but before I do I wanted to ask if there are there any high resolution texture packs or shader mods available for it?

Yo dawg, I heard you liked mods, so we put some mods inside your mods so you can mod while you mod.

Seriously though, there are no mods for DayZ as far as I know. And yeah, if you want higher resolution character textures then you're gonna have to purchase the Private Military Company DLC for Arma 2 as well.
