BattleEye "failed to update"

so i got on my first server, and got to close to my first zombie and killed it, 10 sec later, kicked because battleeye failed to update.

anyone know what could cause this?

Bumb.

Just got the same (after killing some guy, started looting him, didn't get the alice pack :()

Is there a fix for this yet? I am getting kicked with a "Battleeye failed to Update" message after installing on my laptop. Anyone that could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Everyone update battleeye by downloading the newest version and installing it manually. If that doesn't work try uninstalling it then reinstalling it.
