<<<Hello, Im now gonna write what happened to me in character - as if i am the character - of my first two days in DayZ>>>

I was walking around in the forest, trying to find my bearings when i spot something in the distance, a huge castle!

As I ran into the castle I heard a noise behind me. "What was that???" A man was running, no not running, crouching towards me at a very high speed and I freaked out. Running as fast as i could i ran into the huge castle. Inside I could hear more of these strange dead-alive people screeching for attention, wanting to eat something that could sate their hunger. I decided that i should fight my way out of there so I begin searching for a weapon. But with my luck, I only found some steel cans that were empty. Hungry and Thirsty i decided to run north (or so i guessed) and off i went, with these zombies behind me. Suddenly i run across a sign saying "Ctapoe" <<<I cant type russian letters>> and I saw a huge barn so i decided to hide in it, When i came inside the zombies stopped chasing me and i found a Winchester rifle and some ammo for it. I fell asleep, Low on blood, Hungry, Thirsty and very tired.

<<<<I was asking around on the forums for people to come and help me, which they didnt, some even told me to just go and die and respawn, so i decided to make some more exploration to be able to get my bearings straight>>>>

When I woke up, it was raining heavy and I ran out of the barn to another sign. this sign said "Waxobka" and over it said "Norha". I knew there was a supermarket in those regions so off i went. On the way i found more villages completley empty except for those mindless creatures that was walking around and never dying. They creeped me out but were fairly easy to avoid. I reached the small city and saw the supermarket, IT WAS INTACT! oh the joy i felt was amazing! Inside i found a LOT of stuff, a tent, an Alice pack, lots of food and water and ammo. Now i needed to get my ass to the hospital in the southern part of "Bepe3nho". The sign told me where to go. I knew this area was full of people that was hunting for people. I got to the town with the strange name and I was the hospital and another supermarket. My bag was full of food and ammo so i just gave the supermarket a quick check, in there i found a watch, map, Compass, binoculars, Knife and matches. Oh that is sooo good! I ran into the hospital and found some bloodpacks, great now i need to find a friendly person to help me! But i was so tired that i decided to sleep instead. thats when i saw another box of medical supplies. I had to drop my tent to get Antibiotics and morphines. I was all set, so off to sleep.

<< when sleeping, it means i just logged out :P>> <<I was browsing the forums after people who was near who could come and help me, soon enough i found a post by a guy who needed blood, hey i had 4 bloodpacks, might aswell help out! I contacted him and asked him where i was, he was in Polana, injured so i decided to meet him about halfway and then we could help eachother with the blood, so i called him on skype and we decided to meet at the treeline at the deerstand >>

When i woke up i had a strong urge to hurry as fast as i could to the treeline. When i was sneaking there i saw a Zombie and had to shoot it or it would have killed me. While i was walking and watching, I saw some Zombies and i felt an urge to turn left, and i saw something in the corner of my eye. BOM! i got shot! the pain was excrutiation and i was bleeding out fast, i had no time to react, I aimed down my sight and pulled the trigger. after that it all went black.

<< The guy who shot me was NOT the guy i decided to help, he probably heard my shot on zombies and came to kill me, as the screen came up "YOU ARE DEAD" I could see that his name also popped up in "xxx Was killed". the guy on skype was freaking out and i told him to take my stuff and be happy, he then asked if we could meet somewhere and i told him sure. >>

When I woke up i was back at the beach. oh no! i thought i could see who killed be if i ran all the way back, which i decided to do. when I found the exact same barn that i slept in earlier, I saw a girl, a Beautiful girl who told me that she saw me die, picked up my stuff and decided to live on with it, she gave it back ofcourse and since she had so little blood left i could heal her, then i shared my items, so we both could have weapons and i got my sweet and trusty winchester back. the beautiful blonde asked me if i wanted to see the guy who killed me, so off we went. We were sneaking around in the woods, trying to avoid the dangerous roads when we found two empty tents. We both got scared and thought "uh oh, someone is here, we'd better hurry!" and we snook away into the forest. After a while the blond heard a gunshot and fell down to her stomach, and i thought she got shot, OH NO! so i hurried to lay down aswell. Turned out that she was just playing dead and i thanked all gods, known and unknown that she was OK. As we made it out to the field i found the corpse of the guy who shot me. Damn him. "You should check his backpack" the cute blond said, and so i did. He had an Alice pack aswell, he had a Winchester (which i gave to the cute blonde) and some more medical supplies. we decided to head back into the town with the strange name and scavenge.

<< when we got to Berezino I we had some computer problems, his computer lagspiking, so he rebooted and i waited, after a while my graphics card which is OCed got overheated and i had to reboot aswell, by that time he got teleported by a hacker into a strange field with lots of shooting, so he left asap. when i came back we had some struggle trying to find a proper server as most of them were out of patch or similar. we found one and decided to go to the SE Military airstrip. >>>

When we woke up, we silently agreed to try and get to a military airstrip for help to escape this island. together we snook through farms, barnes and finally we made it to the coast, following it for a while. When we got to the closest town, we got attacked by a HORDE of zombies and we ran as fast as we could, I shouted to the girl, "I AM GOING TO LAY DOWN HERE, YOU KEEP RUNNING; SAVE YOURSELF!" and she ran, as i laid down, the Zombies just stopped and walked away. "what the f*ck" I thought to my self. then a zombie ran over my leg and broke it. lucky me i packed some morphine with us. i finally found the cute blonde and we decided to head into the hills because we saw something that looked like Cherno ahead of us. after being lost a couple of hours we finally decide to head out to the beach again. When we arrive at the beach i see that what i thought was Cherno actually was the factory north of Solnichniy.

"Oh my, you are bad at localizing yourself" She said. "We havent even passed Elektro yet.". We decided it was time to make camp for the day and so now she is sleeping and Im writing this diary. Time will tell what fun adventures we will stumble upon. Ahwell. Goodnight

<< I had so much fun playing with my friend, we were on skype the whole time and i got the idea to write this down, if it wasnt for the guy who killed me, i would probably just given my friend some bloodpacks and then left, ahwell, thank you, murderous freak, for helping me find a trustworthy and loyal friend! :) >>

<<<Same world, Same time, Different place....>>>

Woke up at the beach, having no memory of anything, could not even remember my name, all I had was a backpack with some bandages, flash light, painkillers and dog tag with Zheiko written on it, guess that's my name... looked around, and saw a road, well, what else to do, I just decided to follow that road... it soon got me into town, called Prirogodky, or at least that's what the banner said.. after quick look around I have noticed some strange looking people walking around and making these weird noise, screeching and, it was just horrible, I tried to contact one, and came by, when this guy, just suddenly started chasing me, I got scared, so I turned around and ran as fast as I could. Cannot remember how far I ran, but it seemed that I got safely away from this psycho. I didn't know how far I ran, or where I was, so I decided to keep same direction and keep going, until I find something that might tell me where I was.

After quiet long walk, when I decided to stay in forrests, that its gonna be easier, I arrived to some small village with few buildings, there were these psychos again, they actually looked like walking dead... I managed to crawl arround them, and in one of the buildings I found hatchet, some beans and empty bottle, and of course some empty cans, which were of no use for me. I was really thirsty already, so I had to fill the empty bottle. Before I entered this house, I noticed that there was water pump outside, so I was praying for the pump to be working, and that the water wont be contaminated. Got my bottle filled up, and decided to keep going. Sun was getting higher, so I assumed, that it was morning hours when I woke up, but had no idea what time it was. Decided to keep going same directions, and avoid roads, because I might be easy target there, and as far as I found out yet, nobody was friendly yet, so being careful rather than sorry.

After few hours of walk, I have finally found another town, this one had a church, and I thought to myself, what a irony. There was a farm, so I decided to go inside, and see what I could find, and I was lucky, I found a Winchester rifle with plenty of ammo, some more food, some coke and bandages, that might get handy. when I was leaving the building, I have heard some gunshots, so was very carefully going through the town, and I thought to myself, that there is probably another survivor, and that if we meet up, we might get friendly. But that didn't just happen, I haven't seen anyone, and got into some kind of barn, where I got some more supplies that might get handy later on. Not much to do there, so I decided to keep going same way, when leaving the town I noticed it was called Staroye. Too bad I had no map and didn't know where I was.

I found also some deerstands, had to change direction a little, but it was well worth it, I found M24 with very good scope, and few bullets in it, left Winchester there and smiling, leaving that place.

I have passed some other village of unknown name, and found nothing in there, and reached some kind of factory - that was very usefull, because I found a hunting knife there and some more useful stuff. From the roof of the factory, I saw another deerstand, so decided to go there, found nothing useful, except... with my m24 binoculars, I have seen some village, and there was a supermarket there, I though to myself, BINGO, there should be a lot of things there, but something just had to go terribly wrong... when I was trying to get to the village, I have heard another gunshots, it seemed that we probably had same way with another guy, if it was the same, I have however not seen anyone again. Bad luck, when I was trying to get to the town, one of the Zombies noticed me, ran towards to me and bit me. I was bleeding, pretty bad, so took my chances with M24, killed him. But quickly I realised what mistake have I done. The gunshot must have been heard miles away.. and so it was. Suddenly I noticed about 10 Zombies sprinting towards to me, and I though I am going to die... I was still bleeding pretty badly, so started shooting one by one, as it had no reason now to just run, killed them luckily all, bandaged myself, and passed out...

<<< At that point, that was first time I logged off, thinking I am pretty screwed, no ammo in my weapon, 3.5k of blood, blurry vision, and no chance getting into town. Went on forums, for some tips how to get help, when xWildChild wrote, that he's in Berezino, and that he has two blood bags, and that he too, needs a blood transfusion, we got on skype and managed to set meeting point>>>

When I came back concious, I could not see anything, I rushed to the small forest on the hill that I have seen, because that could give me some protection, and went through the forrest keeping same direction, and I have came to another deer stand, and few zombies around. In my condition, I wasnt really able to reach it, and check what is in there, so I decided to go arround, and at that point I saw another guy, he had a gun, I though he might help me, so I rushed towards to him. I was dying anyway, and he was my last chance to survive, then at certain point, I saw him change direction, aiming his weapon, heard gunshot, he got hit, and he shot back... my heart was racing, I had no idea what happened, but he fell down, could not see anyone in there. I though, this is it, this guy is dead, and there is most probably another guy, who is just hunting for another players... well, I am dead, thats for certain... I crawled to this guy, and noticed that they actually shot each other, and both bled out. Checked what they had on themselves, took what I might have needed, my heart still racing, afraid, that there might me more of them, and ran back to the forest.

<<<On skype, with this guy who died, he offered to me to just take his stuff, and play, that he will start all over again, but cmon, this fella just died trying to help me, I was still at 3.5k blood, and needed blood infusion. I have taken his backpack, his rifle(mine was of no use any more without ammunition) and told him, to try to get to my location after he re spawns, that I would bring him all his things that I could carry, including his guns.>>>

So I decided to go back, to the barn, I got map, and compass from the dead bodies, so that helped me incredibly to know where I am finally. Rushed back through the forest, with all those things, I had no joy of, these were bloody things, I could not just keep them and leave. I had to find the guy who sacrificed himself for me to live, even tho he didn't know me. We met at a barn, I gave him back all his items, and since he was injured by some zombies, we made a fire and made some chicken steaks. He gave me Blood transfusion and healed me. We decided to travel together. This incident just made us both to trust each other, and that we can rely on each other. I never though this might happen, he was quiet handsome too... Ah silly me...

After we finished our steak, we decided to go check the bodies, if we can manage to get more stuff. On the way there we found two tents, and got very careful, because we knew there might me someone. And it was two tents, that basically meant if the guy whom he killed lived there, he wasn't alone, runing through the forest, I though I have heard a gunshot, so shouting "get down!", we lied down immediately, breathing heavily and checking around if I can see anyone. Well, after a while, I just realised it might have been a bird, so we decided to continue walking. I haven't told him it might have been a bird that scared me, he might laugh at me...

After while, we reached those dead bodies, picking up all we could, and hiding those bodies, in case anyone would be around, we didnt want them to know we are here. We headed to the nearest town, as far as my mate told me, there was hospital and supermarket so we managed to get more healing supplies, weapons and all sorts of important things. We decided to get some sleep there too, as we were hidden and it was warm in there, and outside was getting dark.

At the morning, we decided to head to some military base, he said we will find some great supplies in there, probably better weapons and such. It seemed like a great idea, so we headed to beach and down south. Again, on south.. We got to one town, and there was plenty of zombies, we were crawling around trying not to get their attention, when one of them noticed us. We tried to shoot him off, but more just came, so we decided to run for life... there was maybe 10 of them behind us, so I told him to run to the closest bush and hide there, and I will drag the rest of them further away and do the same nearby. Then suddenly I heard him scream, and I though, that's it, he's dead, I have to make it on my own, ran through the bush, and laid down, got rid of the zombies and went back to the beach, and I saw him. One of the zombies just ran over him, and stepped on his leg, fracturing it. But the zombie didn't notice him(those creatures are really dumb, luckily). We met up again, and decided to keep going further, when we saw a huge factory like building, he said that its Cherno already. I believed him, because I have never been there and I just let him to watch the map, and lead the way. Well, we found out, after almost an hour that we have no clue where we are, and that it was not Cherno... could not be... when we finally realised where we are and where to go next, we decided we are too tired to continue on our journey, and we headed to sleep. Lets hope it wont be raining, as we have no tent.
