pointblank1777@yahoo.com 5 Posted July 21, 2012 After a successful pillage at the NW airfield where I kept watch over my m8's from a safe distance through the optics of my AS50, my friend and I decided to take a short break to piss and grab more mtn dew and disconnected in a field near vybor. When I rejoined the server about 10 minutes later, I was horrified to see a flash and glimpse of where I was about to spawn, the mawfukin debug plains, and then the player list with a death marked up next to my name. I quickly ended the process from the control panel in a desperate attempt to preserve my fate with my AS50 and l85A2 AWS. I then rejoined to once again rage at finding myself spawning in the ocean, so I ended the arma task once again and prayed to the unforgiving DayZ gods to save my soul. I rejoined another server to find myself in the water about 20 feet from some marsh, so i started swimming and was ecstatic to find my gear had not been lost! Then I realized I had safely made it to an island, and the actual coast was about 40 yards away across more treacherous ocean. I figure out that the game has teleported my character to the islands outside of kamyshovo. So Im sitting on the damn island trying to decide what to do, I am afraid of losing my gear in the water and wondering if i will get teleported somewhere else if i keep leaving and rejoining. I decided to be a guardian angel and put the AS50 to work shooting the zeds chasing after the unarmed survivors running along the coast. Suddenly I am killed and notice every other person on the server was killed as well, mawfukin hackers! So I spawn in Krutoy Cap and high-tail it back to kamyshovo, swim across the water, grab all of my gear that is still there fortunately, and make a break for it across the water. Somehow all of my gear was still there when i reached the other side and sprinted to some trees to d/c before i got killed by the massdeath hacker again. For once, against all odds, the game was unable to fuck me with all of its slimy ways of doing so. NOT TODAY DAYZ, JAMAL GUN' KEEP HIS SWAG! I don't even know how I ended up not losing my loot after all that. So does water not devour loot anymore or what? 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
