Updating battleye NEED help...

my battleye was set at version 1.62.95208 it downgraded by itself to 1.60.83758 or close to those last 5 numbers.... i cant figure out how to update it will someone please help... me and my friends wanna play together and i cant get into any server with that super low version.... need help ASAP ive been trying to update it for about a hour... please help

If you cannot work out how to update battleye I cannot see yourself thriving in DayZ and will more than likely end up being another annoying kid running about the forums and complaining about the bugs in the alpha mod.

go to the battle eye website and download the updater/downloader. Thats how i fixed it.

I went there and downloaded the latest client but for some reason it says i dont have a program to Run it and is making me try and find a program to run it...

ok you need to open it with winraw or whatever compression tool you use, then extract the files somewhere like a folder on your desktop. follow these instructions.

(ArmA 2: Put these files into a folder called "BattlEye" in your ArmA 2 install directory

OA: Put these files into a folder called "BattlEye" in the "Expansion" folder of your OA install directory)

either you got to do that or just got to use the file you downloaded to do the samething
