CTD Every time I try to connect to a DayZ server

Well, I feel like I've tried everything (full list at bottom), including battleye re-installs, full reinstalls, and all three mod installation methods. I cannot get the game to ever get past clicking the 'multiplayer' button (or 'quick join / join server' in Six Launcher

The game did seem to connect to games before installing DayZ (although I only bought it for DayZ)

I have tried:

• Reinstalling battle eye manually / through Steam / through steam in admin mode
  
• Reinstalling everything via Steam / Six Update
  
• Finding the missing registry entry for Arma 2 and then reinstalling the beta / mod manually
  

• Launching through Steam (with paramaters)

Nothing works... I'd love to play, but nothing. :(

Have you tried to restart Arma II? Steam? Computer?

Initially tried SixUpdater/Launcher, then tried to do a manual install, then tried via steam with parameters

As soon as I click the 'multiplayer' button in game (if launched through steam / manual) the game crashes. (And an error pop-up is displayed in windows)

If I click 'quick join' or 'join server' in the SixLauncher, it will jump into a loading screen (with the tanks?) and then crash to desktop after 30-60s. (Same pop-up:)

sorry, i'd help you, but most i think about these type of reports is the answer is isn't to tamper with the reg unless your removing stuff. i'd say try a total reinstall of arma2oa. and make sure you computer can run it.

Yeah, I tried a fresh install. It's worth trying again I suppose.
