Constant FPS drops and rises

Basically, my FPS is fine at first, but after about 5 minutes, it drops to around 4. After about 10 minutes, it goes back up to the playable amount, but then shoots back down shortly.

I've lowered all settings to the possible lowest, messed around in configs, tried using mods (apparently not allowed), tried the RAMDisk method, Gamebooster, closing all background applications, but had almost no affect whatsoever.

I am playing on a laptop, which I think is the problem.

AMD Turion II P560 Dual-Core Processor 2.50GHz

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series

4GM RAM

Would overheating be a problem? My laptop gets really hot after playing for a while. I've looked at other threads, but most solutions ended up in buying a new rig. I aint gots the monies for that, so any help would be appreciated.

i got a fps problem 2 and i think you got the good comp for it.

i have intel 7 8gb ram and still have lagg i run bf3 smooth whitout a littlelagg
