Server Hopper killed my friend

So me and my friend are going through the camp in starry when suddenly my friend thinks he see me in the tent he's in. Well as you can probably tell it wasn't me and the guy shot my friend with his pistol and killed him, while my friend only got off one shot. The guy then logged off immediately before I could kill him.

What gives people the idea to server hop between hot areas and kill people? This really needs to be fixed because it happens way to often and I can see many people get pissed about this as well.

Server hopping being a well known issue this thread is pretty pointless. It is going to be fixed one day.

What gives people the idea to server hop between hot areas and kill people?

The answer is obvious: more loot without having to trek anywhere. This is not a new problem. You should expected loot heavy areas to be PvP zones filled with all sorts of teleporting creeps and invisible snipers.
