Zombies and Beta Patches

Recommended Posts

So i've updated to the latest beta patch 95168 and played some more DayZ. I like that the beta patches come out frequently, but they seem to be coming out really fast! That however, is besides the point.

Ever since the latest patch i've have intermittent zombie behaviour. Sometimes the infected will chanse after you as per usual, however sometimes they'll just stand still on the spot. To prove a point to some friends, i ran (literally ran) through Cherno the other day (and we all migrated to 3 servers to show it wasn't a server issue) and didn't aggro even 1 zombie. To prove it even further i ran in front of and around a zombie outside of the Church, stood still in front of it, saluted and then walked away. What happened? Nothing at all.

It's great that the beta patches are coming out frequently, but doing so is creating more problems than it is solving with DayZ and Arma 2 itself. I'm sure this isn't the only occurance/bug. Should the production of Beta Patches be reduced?
