Me and my friends tents, vehicles are gone!

Hi,

After logging onto a server with my friends, spawning at our camp location we discovered that all our tents, the loot inside, tanktraps, wires and our vehicles are gone! Relogging didn't fix it and we have no idea what happened. I read this topic: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/25099-out-of-bounds-itemvehicles-cleanup-2012-07-06/ and also the other about cleaning up barbed wire and empty tents that were unused for 7 days. Though our tents are used and saved every single day, and we're not out of bounds we're just on the limit inside the map, inside of a forrest. Anyone have any idea what happened?

My group had our tents vanish like that a while back. Sometimes a server reset can fix the issue. Barring that, start collecting again and stop getting attached.

Hackers can have the ability to see all vehicles on the map, so if you parked your cars near your tents, I reckon they ran over your tents before scuttling away with your cars.

Have experienced that few times :) Just wait for server restart and stuff will reappear. If tents woulda been flattened they still don't vanish.

Thanks. Hoping it will come back later after a server restart and if it doesn't I just hope it wont happen a second time.

This issue is usually caused when a server has been "force" restarted. This means that someone has joined the server on startup and clicked ( Continue ) on the briefing screen. Pro tip to server admins who have been having this issue. Password Server - restart server - join server - let server get past briefing screen without clicking continue ( it will move to the next screen on its own ) - load into server - remove password. This works 99% of the time for me.
