kims4@live.no 29 Posted July 21, 2012 They probably have newer AMD processors.... Because your processor is old and outdated.. :P Get a new upgrade for your computer if you can afford it. Check CPUbenchmark.net etc you can see the score processors have, and their rank. Not 100% accurate, but it's good enough to assess the info :)
Portyo 1 Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) :( yes, that is sad :( is to expansive in brazil a new CPU,but in other games like Battlefield 3,Max Payne 3 i have 50-60 fps on High Edited July 21, 2012 by Portyo
kims4@live.no 29 Posted July 21, 2012 Yea, well in Battlefield 3, Max Payne 3 etc they utilize (use) the graphics card to do the most work : )ARMA II is different, it's (almost) all about the CPU. It's a shame countries can't have a generally good price point for medium tier computer hardware :/But either you have to save money or work more. Or you could always lower the settings to LEGO (lowest) : ) If you haven't done that already : o
Portyo 1 Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) :( i put in low but, just 25 to 20 fps in city 18 fps..in forrest 35 fps,can you tell me a good CPU to buy? a i7-3930K like yours is R$1.476,56 in Brazil. >:( in Arma 2 singleplayer i have 50-60 fps on medium. -Daemon- 14 Posted July 21, 2012 When you're playing multiplayer, your CPU is loading a lot more items and instances of people, buildings etc... When you play Battlefield as stated before, it's all pre-rendered and your graphics card is doing all the work. For a cheaper quad core you may look at the Phenom II x4 840. I run it overclocked to 3.5 and have no issues in game. It's got nothing on the newer Intel chips though.
