What for is restricting IP???

My problem is that I play sometimes with my gf when she visites me and since I bought Arma 2+OA twice its really anoying that half the server denie us access since we play over the same IP. TS and Skype give like the same advanteage of a LAN I dont see why there should be any difference between ppl with the same IP and other groups that chat over TS!

Are you saying you both can't join the same server at the same time because you share an IP? That shouldn't be a problem; I've had multiple people on from the same IP with no issues.
