DayZ Lag

So for the past two days i've been playing DayZ with huge lag, all my setings are to very low, does anybody know, how i can fix this ?

My specs

Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz

4GB RAM

Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit

GeForce 9600M GS

I saw much lag last night also. And low FPS. Before yesterday I saw good performance on a range of servers. Could just be that is is insanely busy again for the hive(s)

You are proberly right with the hive since our server has been having issue keeping a stable connection to Hive over the last 3 dayz.

Could someone, please tell me, if there's a fix to fix this FPS lag ?

Ok I know this might sound strange but i had the following problem:

game lages EVERY 5-10 seconds for 2 seconds. I am playing on a thinkpad x220 with no gfx card.

my solution:

I plugged in a external monitor!!!

that solved the problem! I dont know why (maybe someone has a tech explanation). So try to plugin a monitor!

I wonder if this will help you guys too!
