System Freez

Hi,

i have a huge problem since the last update. As soon as iam in the game, my pc completly freezes. Sometimes iam able to start the taskmanager and switch to the desktop ( 2 out of 6 times) and "kill" the arma process tree. So when i look inside the event viewer i have two entrys:

1. Driver atksgt.sys has been blocked from loading.

2. The atksgt service failed to start due to the following error:

This driver has been blocked from loading

This just happens when i play arma/day z.

What i did:

1. Deinstall the old nvidia drivers and install the newest

2. deactivate the Avira Antivir Programm

System specs:

Core I5 2500

8GB DDR3

Geforce 460GTX SE

So if anyone has the same problem, feel free to answer :D

have you tried other games too, does it freeze also?

If you get a blackscreen pc freeze it might be a temp issue, check your pc temp with a tool or your hands.

dust and blackscreens are mostly caused by dust on your pc insides.

Hi,

yesterday it worked with other games. But today even tribes ascend freezes. So i think its down to the hardware....
