hey i just found a tent but im not sure what to do with it?

let's say i deploy it now and i die.. what will happen to the tent??

As long as you save it's position before you die (scroll wheel). It will stay there for 2 days after you die, and store all your gear. Hide it well, Tent's are great to plunder loot from because anyone can open them. Only you can take it down once it's up though.

The tent remains on the server* and you can use it, but others can too. so if you store things in there, others can steal from it, it persists after you die, and also when you are offline, but only on that server.

*tents have a habit of bugging out and just vanishing WITH all the contents! 50/50 chance on a server restart
