zombies still being attracted from far away?

is anyone else experiencing this? it seems to be different amongst updated servers and very inconsistent. yes i am aware of how much noise im making and how visible i am. i thought this was fixed which is why i am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this

The answer is in the updates forum. In 1.7.2 the zombies were wigging out too easily at long range. The 1.7.2.3 fixed that but some servers are still running the older update. Hell some are still running 1.7.5 so you need to watch for that.

im still having problems with zombies spawning right next to me or at very awkward times

just today i lost my amazing character build because i stopped to minimize my game LITERALLY 1km from the farm i was just at, between towns, and in the middle of absolutely NO zombies, and somehow in the 30sec i was afk a zombie had run up and knocked me down, i lost nearly all my health and shortly died of blood loss.

such a bad glitch i hope they fix it soon

Yes the random spawn next to players is annoying shit. Its worse in places like NWAF and near choppah wrecks. The random spawn also seems to be the mike tyson of the bunch and will knock you out.
