Disaster! I thought BattlEye had installed automatically with ArmaII, but apparently not. When I try to reinstall it, I just get a 'Missing String' message. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and am shit with computers, so if anyone can give an explanation for stupids, that would be awesome.

you using steam?

if you are and got that message when trying to use steam to re-install it, then have you tried getting it directly from the battleye website?

A few other people have had this http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=269

This historically was a much bigger issue (in general, not just DayZ) with BE in one of it's earlier releases

I'm having some problem with BattlEye, i've installed the retail version from Amazon and installed BattlEye too with it, every single time that I try to enter a server it kicks because of Unknown Version, I uninstalled BE, Reinstalled, still the same problem, downloaded the .dll from the website, still the same problem.

I'm staying out of options, any suggestion?

Same problem, put the latest copies of the battleye client and server in every folder I could find listed. Still no dice. Unknown Version on every server...
