what does it mean if a server says "veretan" or "expert" or "recruit"?

does it mean the zombies r hard to kill if its veteran or expert or something? srry if this is a noob question :blush:

These designations indicate which difficulty settings are enabled / disabled. Settings such as 3rd person, crosshair, map notes, map location, nametags etc. The only confusing thing about this though is that you can currently find, say, 2 veteran servers with completely different settings enabled.
