Can you reach the debug plains?

I ask because, after spawning in a new town, I pretty much went straight for the hills and after running for about an hour along the coast found myself at the roads end and staring at luscious green hills with absolutely nothing on them. Have I reached the end of the map?

Doesnt sound like it, I once ran north past the NWAF for about 30 minutes, its very brown and plain out there and is seemingly endless. had to turn back after a while due to lack of food & water

Its so weird, I have no idea where I am.

End of a map is actually hills and plains. After a while you hit invisible wall and thats it.

the "debug plains" are about an hour and a half northeast of the map border (where the grass ends).
