F4ll3N 28 Posted July 20, 2012 I buy the server vilayer and the server name is LU225I also use vilayer, dayz is in alpha and due to this the data distribution pipeline is VERY inefficient. This means our hosts have to get these micro updates every 2 days AND get the corresponding beta patch (an alpha game running off beta patches yeah most would see that as a recipe for disaster) and then make a option or forced install version for EVERY dayZ server they have.This is very hard on the hosts and really not viable for long I am sure hosts are working out a way to just make us deal with it on our own right now.My point is the servers are slow to update or the clients get wrong versions because of poor distribution of patches, I have stopped using six launcher all together because it is INSANE to have a launcher that forces version updates in an alpha game and it have either been too early with updates or WAY behind locking me out of my server for 12+h. Its better to learn how to update and rollback your beta version and dayz versions manually, I do it this way now and use Dayz Commander and can go back and forth at will with no problems.Drop six launcher get Dayz commander and go back to beta version 95054. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
adamburnside 8 Posted July 20, 2012 At the moment vilayer have not released the latest patch, lots of LU servers are down and awaiting the update, vilayer have been very poor with the update, taking there time on it, should be some time soon though hopefully.
