Anyone with a good EST server without hackers?

Recommended Posts

Hacking is rampant in this game now. Battleye is little to no help at all. Today my friends and I were killed by a sniper in a guile suit that was porting around, killing us at point blank range. The server this happened on was US 105. I confronted the guy (don't remember his full name) but he promptly logged off the server after I spoke up.

Basically what I want to know is, does anyone have a good EST server that they police well? Every server that I have been on so far has had a deadbeat Admin, that does nothing about hacking, or hacks themselves. Please Help. I love Dayz and I do not want to see it go to the corrupt. I want to play with skill and not "I win" modifications. I want a server with REAL gamers and not childish "I need to hack to experience a kill" players.

I wait the flames from all the Dayz "Modifiers."

It seems like american servers are infested with hackers, god damn annoying american kids.

One of the hackers that killed us was american too.

What is it with american kids and their sense of entitlement?

You got that right. I get sick every time I expiernce something like this, or see it happen to anyone else. I miss the times when people had at least a little more respect and moral in their game play. I can take a scumbag player, if he kills me legit. To see someone doing that, then logging off and maybe on to another server, to do it again to someone else, is plain sickening!

Been playing for awhile now and ive yet to encounter a hacker.

This was my first in Dayz, I started about 2-3 weeks ago. I say "rampant" because of the threads I've seen popping up lately and the feedback from players who stream this game on sites like twitch. I've actually seen hackers in the livestream.

Anyway, I know reporting does nothing, especially with a deadbeat server admin. If either of you, or anyone else, knows of a decent EST server that is controlled somewhat, let me know, please.

I haven't had any obvious cases of hacking but I have had the old server hop problem. Playing on my standard server, night time comes, everyone starts logging off because they don't want to play at night. Perfect chance to go raid the large airfield. Silenced weapons, careful to use only chem lights for what little lighting I need (usually stumble about in the dark and run into buildings to deal with zombies), enter the hangars/firehouse/barracks and some ass clown server hoping for gear jumps in just behind you in a corner and caps you. Bam, totally lame and not much you can do about it when it happens.

The only time I knew something was fishy was the server admin on US 221. When I was less equipped to deal with night I would go to this server from my normal one at night and play there for a few hours instead. Well, one there happened to only be about 6 or 7 players. Noticed the player count was going down until it was just myself and my brother. We raided Vybor with silenced MP5's and barely made any noise, then went over to the bridge to the south to refill canteens and get ready to move on to the next town. Suddenly, I hear zombie screaming getting louder and louder and louder. Server admin comes screaming down into the valley behind the bridge we are under driving a truck using direct comm to blare this obnoxious screaming noise. Like someone being burned alive, funny, but annoying. My question on that was how the hell did he know we were under the bridge. Do admins have the ability to see the coordinates of players? And was he systematically finding the players on his server and killing them one by one until they all logged out (which would totally explain how the player count dropped to just us and him over the course of an hour)?
