Cant Connect With Six Launcher (Wrong Version)

I have been using Six Launcher to run dayz for a while now, with the last time of me using it being yesterday. But for some reason now it says all servers are outdated. The servers all say v1.7.2.3, but in the bottom right it says the version for me is 1.6.2. I dont understand how using the launcher and it updating automatically could cause it to have changed to an older version. I dont know how to fix it, any help is appreciated.

Most servers haven't updated to the newest beta. dat 1.62 is fresh.

Ok, thanks. It just worries me because the servers I click on had like 1.6.2.*****, in other words looked like they were newer updates.

first restart six louncher, it that does not work try to update the game manually...DayZ has not changed only beta patch...DL it from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/

Says both my client & the servers I try to connec to are 1.62

I was playing with 2 friends, 1 of them doesnt use sixlauncher, the other one does (like me).

We connected to a server, wanted to swap to a more light one, the guy without sixlauncher could connect, us 2 w sixlauncher couldnt, while we all had just played on the same server & nobody closed the game.

Also, Dont use the launcher to find servers. Just start it up, verify and press the big green launch button. Then in arma go to multiplayer and search for servers there.

I don't think its an issue with the launchers at all. Though they do automatically update, which is going to move you to an incompatible state with servers that have not yet come to update to the newest version. That being said, someone who doesn't have the launcher won't update automatically, which is why the person who didn't have the launcher was probably still able to connect. The point I'm making is this: The servers are just not updated yet; give it about 24 hours and most of them (Hopefully the ones you frequent) will be updated and playable.

This is however a theory, I've only been playing for 2 days, but I'm using common sense here. If I've made in inaccuracies, let me know.

He had updated to the latest version before we started playing & how else would we all be able to play on the same server that was running the latest version.

-> 3 of us on Server A with latest build

-> swap to Server B

-> Only the person w/o Sixlauncher can connect

Was he using a different launcher such as Day Z Commander?

Nope, manual install, but whenever I try that it fucks up for me & my arma2 stop sworking in general.

Installed beta patch, still not working. Will wait till tommorow to test it out again.
